Rabble Rabble mother fuckers. I’m alive, I’m here, and its time for us to get our shit together. The holidays have come and gone. The Fall is dead, as is our birth game LunarWars. Two games that we excelled in and, lets face it, kicked some major ass. Thats all well and good, but lets not dwell on the past now. Its time to find a new target. A new home. A new WAR.

So, let me talk your ear off here for a bit. I’ve mentioned this several times now, and I’m going to mention it again. EVE Online. Its NOT a free game. You pay 15 bucks a month. However… the scope and ability for what we can do is beyond anything we’ve had the ability to do before. This game was made for a group like us. It needs a group like us. And god damn, I’ve seen some of these pirate groups in this game… and I KNOW we could do better.

Let me teach you.

Here is a good example of what EVE can be like. Of the massive fleets that smash into one another, the covert aspects, and the madness of how a battle can shift from one side to another in mere seconds.

You don’t ‘level’ in this game. You train skills, which will train even when your offline. The better the skill, the better you are at whatever that skill lets you do. Broke and need some money? Well you can either mine (gay), or… you can kill people and salvage their ships (not gay). Or, if you are especially crafty you can lock someones ship up with disruptors and demand millions in ransom. Which people actually PAY.

This game was made for us. The shit we could do is beyond amazing. Imagine a fleet of our guys, in capital class carriers, dreadnoughts, battleships, etc… rolling into a fresh system in low security space and taking it from a bunch of miners or pirates. Killing them all, looting their shit, and destroying and space stations they have built.

This is the game you and I should be playing. Its the game I AM playing. TEst fleet is alive there, but hiding within a different corp. We’re waiting to explode onto the scene, but we need some mother fuckers to sign up and play with us.

Stick a fork in it, shits done.

Lunarwars and (lol) Galava are now done. Dead. Its all over except the crying. You can guess at the reasoning here, but the admin there has stated what his version is. Me? I’d like to think he finally just had it with the hackers, and not being able to live of the donations anymore (What? I have to work to buy my own pizza’s now? NO!). He actually had to do work to keep people happy, someone hacked in, and he raged to the point he pulled the plug. Bravo!

Terminus Est was born from LunarWars, so we do feel a bit sad to see it go. We knew it was coming, but still… we had a lot of fun kicking peoples asses in that game. With its death, we hope people can move on. To what you may ask? (clever segue) Why, Terminus Est’s very own game.

Its still in the very beginning stages of development. Planning, designing, and all that jazz. However, we’re of the mind that the community that is going to play it should have a large say in what they want to see. We’ll be posting up some ideas here and there, and eventually show some previews of what we’re doing. In the mean time however, visit here and let us know what type of stuff you want to see in the game. At this point we’re going with a Mars theme. Heavy base of war, alliances, and politics. As well as some sort of map/resource idea. Its all very up in the air, but if you played LW’s and stuck with it, you’ll likely also appreciate the simple system we’re going to attempt. Its widely known that Galava was far too complex for the average 20 minute junkie who plays these things.

So, be sure to check this page daily, as well as the forums. We’re going to keep on working on this until its done. Jimmerz is our little codemonkey, and as such he’ll be doing some posts here and well as looking at a lot of suggestions that people post. He’s a good guy, smart, and as much of a dick as I am. So, don’t piss him off. I hate to see him hulk smash you.

I have just completed the setup of the Terminus Est fantasy league!  All members of TEst and friends of TEst are welcome to join.

A bit about our league:

It is a head to head league with a live draft.  If you’re not available for the draft you can rank your desired players and the best available player on your list will automatically be drafted for you.  The date and time for the draft is set at August 23rd, 9pm Eastern time, but we can change that if it doesn’t work for people.

The buy-in is $25, which will go into a TEst account until we have a winner.  Four teams will make the playoffs, each of those teams is guaranteed their buy-in back, with the overall winner receiving more.  Obviously, the amount depends on how many teams we have. As it looks now, if we have a full league, the winner will be receiving $225. A small portion (looks to be about 7%) of the buy-ins are going into the TEst fund account to help with things like TEst FEst.

The points are totaled automatically by yahoo sports, so you don’t have to sit in front of the TV all day every Sunday obsessively tracking games.  Your biggest concern is the draft and starting the right players every week.  Also, trading is enabled for most of the season.

The league has room for 14 teams, and it’s first-come, first-serve.

So, today I’d like to take some time to talk about eRepublik and what we’re doing there. Some of you may know that TEst exists there and we’ve been growing steadily in the game. Join us over there by following this link.

Now, to talk about the game itself. Its a pretty neat game in my opinion, as it focuses mainly on politics, growing as a citizen of a nation, fighting in wars, and generally doing whatever you can to stay alive and working. There is a few tricks to this, and I’ll have a guide up shortly on our soon to be expanded forums.

as with most games, the most in depth and enjoyable part is that created by the players. You can become President of a nation, or congressman… so on and so forth. Which has given rise to ‘Blocs’ and some pretty intense propaganda and war. Mechanics wise, the game is pretty stable though slow to load in some parts.

They feature an in depth wiki which is under constant updates from players. a useful tool if you are looking for tips on how to get ahead, as well as a nice source of info.

Some of my favorite parts are the in game forums, as well as the ability to have a newspaper to publish articles for yourself, a party, or in general.

Summer is here, and we’ve all got some free time to burn. As such, I’d like to get down to business with a few of you. No, not that kind of business. Lets play some games!

So, I’d like to hold a bit of a gaming contest. Let me know what games you have on steam, and if I have them… I’ll play you. 1v1. Why? Bragging rights. You know you want to be the one to say “Yep. I kicked Jodo’s ass.” Only thing is… can you do it?

As many of you may have heard, a while ago Terminus Est was asked by the creator of The Fall to help beta test and build the game.

I’m pleased to announce that it has entered the final stage of the game. Our community was very helpful in its creation, as many key aspects of the game, war system, alliance set up, and various others have made the game not only FUN… but largely unique.

I encourage everyone to head on over and try it out. Its a pretty easy game to learn, and I will be typing up a guide sometime today to have on our forums so that our people have the opportunity to grow. Make no mistake, this game will grow and be huge. We’re one of the FIRST to have knowledge of how the game works, and we can proudly say that we helped build it.
