So, over the past few weeks myself, and Jimmerz have been attempting to build an empire in EVE Online. Thus far its cost many hours, intense skill training, and a RETARDED amount of ISK (in game money).
Now, as many of you DONT play, a lot of this will be completely lost on you. But, Im going to talk about it anyways because… lets face it. We aren’t really doing much else.
Terminus Est will soon be born in EVE Online. Our old friends the GOONS are there, though most of them have no idea whom we are as this faction of GOONS largely ignored our moon games. Which is pretty cool if you ask me. As I intend on having an intense amount of lulz here soon with or without them.
The basis of our up and coming alliance is simple. At the core will be a growing Industrial and Mining alliance. Boring, but needed. You see, they will produce the ships that the rest of the alliance uses to kill, pirate, loot, ravage, rape, pillage, and generally cause chaos in. Not to mention ammunitions and various defenses for when we take over an area of space.
And rest assured, we will be taking over an area. Unlike some fledgling alliances with big dreams, I’ve done my homework. I’ve aquired friends in ‘high’ places. Its simply a matter of making a few calls and setting the cogs in motions for the take over of an area of our choosing.
SO, what does this mean for TEst in general? Simple. As our TEst faction in EVE grows, it will become more influential and rake in more in game money. In game money that can be used to buy PLEX. PLEX that can be sold to people for real money.

Things have been a bit hazy in the world of TEst since the end of our genesis game, Lunar wars. When the Lunarwars fell we looked to ‘The Fall’ as a replacement. It certainly had some promise in the start but like most promises it was broken (or nearly bugged beyond repaid). It fell into the black hole of developer abandonment, real life always seems to bite these ambitious young coders in the ass. Now it appears that the Fall will be done on the 25th,when the next server bill is due. Even if the rumors of it being purchased are true the game as it stands will be dead and gone before it ever sees the light of day again.
So what is left for TEst? Well, this does leave us in a predicament. We still have some fringe groups in other games like Guild Wars but those associations are tenuous at best. The one remaining game that truly has links to the actual TEst Order is eRepublik. The irony is that the game is more heavily centered around politics than anything else and thats not the greatest draw for a group with a history of Lulz wars.
While TEst has been in eRepublik for a few months there is a very small number of us still there. Yet,over time we have finally planted some roots in eMoldova. It took a while and some required some serious review of expectations but we’ve made some in roads in our new home. We hope to make eMoldova a better place and abetter place for TEst.
BAM! Good news strikes just in time! eRepublik is updating it’s war module. There is a vague role-playing update that mentions tanks, air support,man-on-man fighting and battling over strategic locations. This is a most promising development. If eRepublik adds anything half decent to make the war system slightly enjoyable that would be leaps and bounds it’s current state. Now is the time to get involved if you aren’t. if you are interested just pop in the forum or IRC.

Stick a fork in it, shits done.
Lunarwars and (lol) Galava are now done. Dead. Its all over except the crying. You can guess at the reasoning here, but the admin there has stated what his version is. Me? I’d like to think he finally just had it with the hackers, and not being able to live of the donations anymore (What? I have to work to buy my own pizza’s now? NO!). He actually had to do work to keep people happy, someone hacked in, and he raged to the point he pulled the plug. Bravo!
Terminus Est was born from LunarWars, so we do feel a bit sad to see it go. We knew it was coming, but still… we had a lot of fun kicking peoples asses in that game. With its death, we hope people can move on. To what you may ask? (clever segue) Why, Terminus Est’s very own game.
Its still in the very beginning stages of development. Planning, designing, and all that jazz. However, we’re of the mind that the community that is going to play it should have a large say in what they want to see. We’ll be posting up some ideas here and there, and eventually show some previews of what we’re doing. In the mean time however, visit here and let us know what type of stuff you want to see in the game. At this point we’re going with a Mars theme. Heavy base of war, alliances, and politics. As well as some sort of map/resource idea. Its all very up in the air, but if you played LW’s and stuck with it, you’ll likely also appreciate the simple system we’re going to attempt. Its widely known that Galava was far too complex for the average 20 minute junkie who plays these things.
So, be sure to check this page daily, as well as the forums. We’re going to keep on working on this until its done. Jimmerz is our little codemonkey, and as such he’ll be doing some posts here and well as looking at a lot of suggestions that people post. He’s a good guy, smart, and as much of a dick as I am. So, don’t piss him off. I hate to see him hulk smash you.
Unrelated stuff/links:
Masskill! Nice little song. Thinking of using it in a video of some sort. Of course, nothing beats some of our fan made videos. Yes, that is a blonde. Yes, it was our birthday. And yes, it was a surrender term we issued.

I have just completed the setup of the Terminus Est fantasy league! All members of TEst and friends of TEst are welcome to join.
A bit about our league:
It is a head to head league with a live draft. If you’re not available for the draft you can rank your desired players and the best available player on your list will automatically be drafted for you. The date and time for the draft is set at August 23rd, 9pm Eastern time, but we can change that if it doesn’t work for people.
The buy-in is $25, which will go into a TEst account until we have a winner. Four teams will make the playoffs, each of those teams is guaranteed their buy-in back, with the overall winner receiving more. Obviously, the amount depends on how many teams we have. As it looks now, if we have a full league, the winner will be receiving $225. A small portion (looks to be about 7%) of the buy-ins are going into the TEst fund account to help with things like TEst FEst.
The points are totaled automatically by yahoo sports, so you don’t have to sit in front of the TV all day every Sunday obsessively tracking games. Your biggest concern is the draft and starting the right players every week. Also, trading is enabled for most of the season.
The league has room for 14 teams, and it’s first-come, first-serve.

I don’t think I’ve mentioned these guys, however… as many of us whom frequent TEst on a regular basis it should come to no surprise that we are a bunch of music lovers. Rock, Metal, so on and so forth.
As such, these guys deserve a plug. I’ve been listening to them for a few months as have a few others. Now, they have a tool bar so you can listen to them as often as you like. It installs as an addon right into your firefox browser, its easy to do, and you can listen to their tunes 24/7 on any webpage you browse.
Check it out here. They also have a DJ booth where you can request songs, which they plug on the radio fairly often. I encourage people to check it out and let them know where you are from.

Some may cry, however… this may be a good thing for the games we love. Both companies put out amazing games. Hopefully with the backing of a larger company, ID Software can expand like they claim and crank out some fucking amazing shit. On the flip side, Bethesda should be looking forward to a nice bump up in the graphics department.
Epic? Lets hope so.

Summer is here, and we’ve all got some free time to burn. As such, I’d like to get down to business with a few of you. No, not that kind of business. Lets play some games!
So, I’d like to hold a bit of a gaming contest. Let me know what games you have on steam, and if I have them… I’ll play you. 1v1. Why? Bragging rights. You know you want to be the one to say “Yep. I kicked Jodo’s ass.” Only thing is… can you do it?
So, for those whom accept the challenge, post up on here. No set times or anything as I’m not in a hurry to defend my crown. Whenever you have the time I’ll be here to kick your asses.
Just add me on Steam: Jodo195
Also, join our community on there. You’ll see the link right in my profile on steam.

If you guys haven’t been checking these guys out, you definitely should. Today, they plugged our community and answered a mailbag question from myself (Jodo). It was nice to see and hear, and as always was a well made episode. I, personally, religiously watch and read these guys. I highly suggest others do so as well.
If your interested in seeing the plug, check it out here.
Now, to the heart of todays News. As always, we’re going to cover a game. Gaming news site, with gaming news? Crazy… I know.
Today, we’re going to talk about a game I just happened to pick up recently. It’s been out for a bit now, so some of you have likely played this. Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. I’ll cover the single player for now. I have yet to work my way through this games single player in the weeks I’ve had it. Not because I suck mind you, but I couldn’t bring myself to go right into easy mode. OH NO! I went with the regular/normal mode.
Firstly, the AI in this game is annoying. Not because it’s bad… but because its smart. They flank, they use grenades properly, and I’ll be damned… they can snipe and aim. This is no Halo where you can run and gun. It requires tactics and thought on the part of the player.
The weaponry in the game is pretty damn realistic. I’ve fired some of the weapons in the game, as I’m former military myself. And they behave just like you would expect. Also, there is a particular part in the game where you have to assassinate a target at long range with a sniper rifle. I’ll be damned. You actually need to adjust for wind, and the Coriolis effect. I shit you not.
Story line is a bit, meh. I like the middle east areas where you have to go from target to target in a city environment. The Russian ones, not so much. The overall story so far is interesting enough I suppose, and is in depth enough to have your attention. The gameplay and comments from the AI teammates are what really grabs you however, as they react much like a real person would.
I’d love to critic the mulitplayer portion, however I must be dumb-tarded this week and haven’t quite gotten PunkBuster to work correctly. Which, is an excellent program. I used to use it back in my Joint Operations days.
On an unrelated note, I keep promising t-shirts. And I will deliver soon enough. We’re still looking into them from multiple sources. CafePress might be the best option after all, as I won’t have to manually ship them all. However, I won’t be able to sign them like some people had requested as easily. So, I may buy a few and sign them (as well as some others) and then sell them at a slightly higher price to cover the shipping costs on my end.
Lastly, We’re working on the video portions of TEst news as well as getting the Officers and our Warmaster to get some posts and such up. I’m sure everyone is bored by now listening to me ramble on and on.

The first (shitty) episode of TEst NEws. Why? I was drunk.
